Payments of qualified higher education expenses are deductible under the Act.
	Qualified expenses include tuition and fees required for the enrollment or attendance of you, your spouse or any dependent claimed as an exemption.
	The deduction cannot be claimed in the same year as a HOPE or Lifetime Learning credit for the same student.
